Application Process

The first step in creating a semi-permanent manicure with Get Nails is the use of a base. GetLac Rubber Base ensures enhanced adhesion and is applied after the nails have been correctly and thoroughly prepared. GetLac Rubber Base is a high-viscosity base with a honey-like consistency, created using the latest technologies in the field, following the newest trends in manicure techniques. This product is designed to provide strength even to the thinnest and most sensitive natural nails.

Being a stable product, it is ideal for creating the apex of natural nails. Its high viscosity allows for easy correction of any existing unevenness in the natural nails. Additionally, it allows for short extensions of natural nails and the protection of problematic nails, both in manicures and pedicures. It can be used by both professionals and beginners.

GetLac Rubber Base is available in a variety of shades, ranging from transparent to delicate milky tones, including milky pink, peach, or nude-rose. The new GetLac Rubber Base represents the ideal base for achieving impeccable and durable manicures in the shortest time.

Application Instructions / Classic Method:

Prepare the natural nail correctly and thoroughly (degreasing, preparing the cuticle area, and buffing the nail with a Pro Buffer).
Especially for clients with adhesion problems, apply Primer 007 Bond OR Primer Pen Acid OR Primer Pen Bond.
After 30-40 seconds, apply a very thin, brushed layer of GetLac Rubber Base over the entire nail and polymerize.
Due to the presence of color pigments and especially in the case of a nail bed at risk of adhesion problems, we recommend that the first layer, the base, be applied with Rubber Base 1, which has maximum effectiveness for this type of client.
Apply a second layer of Rubber Base (any shade), create and shape the apex, and polymerize.
Finish the nail if necessary, then apply one of the beautiful shades of GetLac Colour in two brushed layers, polymerizing each layer in the UV/LED lamp.
Apply GetLac Top Gloss, Top Gel Mega Gloss, or Top Shine HD and polymerize.
If you applied GetLac Top Gloss, degrease with Cleanser.
Attention! For an intense and durable shine, it is recommended to degrease it about 2-3 minutes after completing the polymerization process.
Apply cuticle oil.

Our Rubber Bases do NOT contain acrylic acids, methacrylic acids, or other free acids. Due to the small size of the molecules, acrylic or methacrylic acid easily penetrates the deeper layers of the nail plate, thus damaging it. Furthermore, acrylic or methacrylic acid is a strong allergen. Instead of acids, our Rubber Bases use BIS (METHACRYLOYLOXYETHYL) PHOSPHATE as an adhesive in a concentration of up to 4.3%. BIS (METHACRYLOYLOXYETHYL) PHOSPHATE is an ester of phosphoric acid. An ester is a reaction product between an acid and an alcohol to form a larger molecule. It has a more complex formula and a higher molecular weight compared to acrylic or methacrylic acid. Because of this, it does not penetrate the nail plate, does not damage it, and does not cause a cumulative effect that could lead to allergies.
