GetLac Base is a classic transparent liquid base that ensures increased adhesion and can be used for both the classic technique of semi-permanent nail polish and for gel applications. It is not recommended for creating the apex; for this option, see GetLac Rubber Base. The first step in creating a manicure with Get Nails semi-permanent polish is using the base. GetLac Base provides enhanced adhesion and should be applied in a very thin layer after the nail has been properly and completely prepared.

Application Instructions / Classic Method:

Apply 007 Bond Primer OR Acid Primer OR Bond Primer.
After 30-40 seconds, apply a very thin, brushed layer of GetLac Base over the entire nail and cure completely.
If an apex manicure is desired, apply a second layer of Rubber Base (any shade), create and shape the apex, and cure completely.
For an apex manicure, finish the nail if necessary, then apply one of the beautiful shades of Colour Gel or GetLac Colour in 2 brushed layers, curing each layer in the UV/LED lamp.

Our Rubber Bases DO NOT contain acrylic acids, methacrylic acids, or other free acids. Due to the small size of the molecules, acrylic or methacrylic acid easily penetrates deeper layers of the nail plate, thereby damaging it.
Furthermore, acrylic or methacrylic acid is a strong allergen. Instead of acids, our Rubber Bases use BIS (METHACRYLOYLOXYETHYL) PHOSPHATE as an adhesive in a concentration of up to 4.3%.
BIS (METHACRYLOYLOXYETHYL) PHOSPHATE is an ester of phosphoric acid. An ester is a product of the reaction between an acid and an alcohol to form a larger molecule. It has a more complex formula and a larger molecular weight compared to acrylic or methacrylic acid. As a result, it does not penetrate the nail plate, does not damage it, and does not cause a cumulative effect that could lead to allergies.
